Finally gave up the ghost...

The old dead tree next door just fell. No damage, just blocking Madden street. It's at least 80 years old. I'll get pix at first light.

Tornado at Cincinnati Airport

This is the tornado that caused a great disturbance at the Cincinnati airport last nite at about 7:40 pm.

Burlington Iowa returning to normal

The Mississippi River in Burlington, Iowa. The river is down about 15 feet from the record floods in mid June the area to the right is Gulfport, Ill which was drowned on June 16 when the levee breached at 25 ft stage. The water is still there.

I'm with 13 Red Crossers walkine in the West Burlington, Iowa July 4th parade. It's a challenge to walk and text at the same time. It's great to be an American!
